Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Klyre ("Klyre", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of anyone who visits our website or contacts us. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Klyre currently operates as a small business with annual turnover under $3 million and is therefore not required to comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) under the small business exemption. We have chosen to voluntarily align our practices with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as a matter of good practice and professional standard, drawing on our founder's background in financial services, fraud prevention and data compliance.

1. What information we collect

We collect personal information you provide directly to us through two forms on our website and LinkedIn presence:

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any analytics or advertising technology on this website. We do not collect any information about you simply by your visiting the site.

2. How we use your information

Every enquiry or subscription submitted through our forms is used to:

We only add you to our marketing distribution list — used to send occasional insights, service updates or newsletters — if you actively tick a consent checkbox at the time of submission. This reflects our obligations under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), which requires your consent before we send commercial electronic messages, separately from how we're permitted to use information to simply respond to your enquiry.

Every marketing message we send includes a clear and functional way to unsubscribe. You can also withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@klyre.com.au. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party.

3. Where your information is stored

Form submissions from both our contact form and Klyre Insights subscribe form are processed and stored using HubSpot, a customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing platform based in the United States. This means your details are transmitted to and stored on servers located outside Australia. HubSpot acts as our data processor for this purpose, and we have not authorised any other use of this data by HubSpot.

Klyre takes reasonable steps to use reputable service providers that maintain appropriate security and privacy safeguards. Where you have opted in to marketing communications, your details are used within HubSpot to manage those communications and are not transferred to any additional third-party platform.

If you have concerns about international data transfer, you are welcome to contact us directly at hello@klyre.com.au instead of using a form.

4. How long we keep your information

We retain enquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and to maintain appropriate business records, or until you request that we delete it, whichever comes first.

5. Your rights

You may ask us at any time to:

To make any of these requests, contact us at hello@klyre.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our business grows or as our practices change. The current version will always be available on this page.
